MURC Synopsis

The CC2PhD Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference (MURC) occurred on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Our 2018 conference featured research presentations from 114 California community college students and transfer students in all disciplines: arts, humanities, social sciences, and STEM.

We strive to host an undergraduate research conference that:

  • Is accessible for community college students and transfer students. We do not charge conference registration fees and we do not require presenters to be part of a college honors program.

  • Encourages presenters and spectators to engage in research and pursue graduate degrees.

  • Is welcoming and stigma-free for community college students and transfer students.

We are taking break from hosting MURC. MURC will resume in Spring 2021. In the meantime, join our mailing list to receive conference updates.
