Research and PhD prep program that provides community college students with a research grant, PhD student mentor, transfer student peer advisor, community college faculty advisor, and CC2PhD Saturday Academies.
Saturday Academies
Monthly Saturday Academies provide instruction on social science research methods and PhD preparation. The Saturday Academies are free and open to the public.
Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Conference
Undergraduate research conference for California community college students and transfer students in all academic disciplines: arts, humanities, social sciences, and STEM.
Community College Studies Conference
Research conference for undergraduates, graduate students, professors, institutional researchers, and other professionals who conduct research on community college related topics.
About Us
The Community College to PhD (CC2PhD) Association is a UCLA registered campus organization, which was established in September 2017. Our mission is to address the underrepresentation of community college alumni in PhD programs. We host events and programs that provide community college students and transfer students with research and PhD preparation opportunities.
